Heather and Scott at The State Room

What a great couple! What wonderful families and friends! What amazing vendors! What a gorgeous venue!
Where do I start?
We loved Heather, Scott and Heather's mom, Cheryl, as soon as we met them.
They were all so real and warm, and fun that we knew the wedding would be like that as well - and it was everything we had hoped for and more!

It was a blast working with some of our favorite vendor-friends: Brittany from BKB photography;
Kahootz the most amazing band that just rocked the house all night; a string trio from Siman Entertainment played as guests arrived, during the ceremony and cocktail hour - and we were blown away by the classical-sounding arrangements of contemporary hits;
Of course the architectural beauty of The State Room was the perfect backdrop for the wedding with gorgeous floral arrangements. The State Room is always one of our favorite venues - it is a videographer's dream -providing wonderful angles and spaces to showcase any event and gathering against the urban beauty visible just outside the wall of windows.
Scott's brother officiated at the ceremony and spoke from the deepest place in his heart as only a brother could. Scott comes from a family of all boys, Heather comes from a family of all girls.
Scott's parents were delighted to finally have a daughter - and of course, Heather's parents were thrilled to have a son.

We found out that Scott had fallen in love with Heather's smile (not a hard thing to do!) and she lit up the room with that smile all night long.

Heather's mom wore a flowing white chiffon dress; Scott's mom was stunning in turquoise lace.
Heather's attendants wore lemon chiffon gowns and carried yellow calla lilies as did Heather. The floral decorations and centerpieces were tall vases filled with cut lemons and topped with delicate yellow orchids created by The Tangled Web.

Here is a short highlights clip from their wedding:
